St. Joseph Original Catholic Cemetery

Historic St. Joseph Cemetery at West 8th Street and Seton Avenue in Price Hill was consecrated in 1843 by German Catholics. Today, St Joseph Cemetery serves Catholics from all nationalities and backgrounds with dedicated, professional service. With 128 acres in its modern configuration, many burial plots remain available in choice locations. St. Joseph Cemetery has made preparations to assure that adequate space will be available for more than 50 years of future burials. The St. Joseph chapel and mausoleum, completed in 1998, has roughly 4,000 crypt spaces. Lawn crypts are also available for those who prefer in-ground interment. In 2013, columbaria were developed throughout the cemetery for above-ground burial of the cremated human remains.

St. Mary Catholic Cemetery

St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, centrally located in St. Bernard, dates back to 1873 but continues to be successfully managed for future use. The cemetery recently opened new sections in Holy Cross Gardens and Our Lady of Grace Gardens and has completed the construction of a new mausoleum, the Christ Our Saviour Chapel. Spaces in the new mausoleum are available. In 2013, columbaria were developed throughout the cemetery for above-ground burial of the cremated human remains.

The original St. Mary Mausoleum houses more than 1,000 crypts in a beautiful, reverent setting. Twin life-size statues of angels that originally stood at Our Lady of Angels High School adorn the mausoleum chapel. Other statues from the former St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Patrick churches also are located in the Mausoleum. The cemetery receives many compliments on the beauty and serenity of the chapel.

St. Mary's also offers Columbaria for the interment of cremation remains. Landscaping and grounds improvements are taking place through the Cincinnati Catholic Cemetery Society Arboretum Foundation.

St. John Catholic Cemetery

Historic St. John Catholic Cemetery in St Bernard, established in 1849, now has less than two dozen burials a year. Due to the careful financial planning of a trust set up in the 1950s it remains a beautiful and peaceful place to this day. Through Perpetual Care, the Board of Trustees is able to guarantee that the grounds continue to be meticulously maintained. Under the auspices of the Arboretum Foundation, Cincinnatians and friends of the cemeteries are working together to ensure the beautification of all of the Society's cemetery grounds.

Baltimore Pike Cemetery

The Baltimore Pike Cemetery, situated on approximately 100 acres and atop one of western Cincinnati’s highest hills, not only offers a peaceful location for the final resting place of your loved ones, but also a magnificent view of the Clifton area and through the valley into downtown Cincinnati.

In the springtime when the flowering trees are in bloom, the panoramic views offered as you drive into the cemetery through the park-like entrance, you may see the occasional deer and wild turkeys roaming. The setting will be sure to put your mind at ease while seeing to the needs of the recently deceased or pre-planning your own final arrangements.

The chapel mausoleum offers 240 traditional casket spaces with choices of either interior or exterior and 72 cremation niches located within two beautiful columns on the exterior of the mausoleum. We offer above-ground burial of the cremated human remains in our beautifully landscaped area called Tranquility Gardens, offering the option of an Ossuary and Columbarium Niche spaces.  We also offer natural burial of the cremated human remains in our park like setting.  Another feature of Baltimore Pike Cemetery worth viewing is the recently rededicated World War I and II Memorials. These impressive memorials have been cleaned and landscaped and are worth the trip by themselves.

Join us for the annual Memorial Day Service. A tradition for nearly a century, the service pays homage to our veterans as well as those who have chosen Baltimore Pike Cemetery as their final resting place during the past year. Tradition is important at Baltimore Pike Cemetery where they have served Cincinnati families for over 155 years.
